Putting our patients, communities and team first
Treehouse Eyes takes seriously our commitment to protect you, our team and our communities from the spread of COVID-19. Being a specialized practice treating children, our centers already have significant cleaning protocols in place year round, and especially in flu season. In recent weeks we have upgraded these protocols further and reinforce them consistently with our doctors and staff.
Below are some of the additional steps we have taken to ensure the safety of everyone in our centers:
- We have instituted appointment screening procedures for the safety of our staff as well as our patients. Specifically, if you or anyone that you have come in contact with has tested positive to the COVID-19 (coronavirus); or if you are showing signs or symptoms of the flu or the virus (which include fever, cough, shortness of breath etc.); or if you have recently traveled outside the US, please call the office and reschedule your appointment to a later date.
- We sanitize all equipment and patient contact surfaces after every use and again at the end of the day.
- We have spaced out appointments to ensure minimal volume of patients in our waiting area.
- Our team members wash their hands after contact with each patient and throughout the course of the day.
Are Treehouse Eyes centers still seeing patients?
Treehouse Eyes closely follows guidelines of various health care organizations, including the WHO, CDC and American Academy of Optometry, as well as local state optometry boards. In some areas our centers may be temporarily closed due to local conditions and advice. For specific updates about your Treehouse Eyes center, please call the center directly.
