Policy Responses to COVID-19
Treehouse Eyes takes seriously our dedication to protecting you, our team and our communities from the spread of COVID-19. Being a specialized practice treating children, our centers already have significant cleaning protocols in place throughout the entire year, and especially during flu season. In recent weeks, we have upgraded these protocols further and reinforce them consistently with our doctors and staff.
Below are some of the additional steps we have taken to ensure the safety of everyone in our centers:
- We have introduced appointment screening procedures for the safety of our staff as well as our patients. Specifically, if you or anyone that you have encountered has tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus); or if you are showing symptoms or signs of the flu or the virus (which include shortness of breath, cough, fever etc.); or if you recently have traveled abroad, please call the office and reschedule your appointment to a later date.
- All equipment and patient contact surfaces are sanitized after every use and again at the end of the day.
- We have spaced out appointments to ensure a minimal number of patients in our waiting area.
- Members of our team wash their hands after coming into contact with every patient and throughout the day.
